The Business Haven presents Working Websites with Laura Stevens

Laura Stevens is professional marketing enthusiast with over 20 years marketing experience  - mainly working "client-side" as a Marketing Manager. 7 years ago, she decided to go it alone and launched The Wise Ass Marketing Co.

Although an experienced marketing strategist, Laura decided it was time to focus on the stuff she really loves doing - Webdesign & Online Marketing, Copywriting and Graphic Design.

But all that experience hasn’t gone to waste - far from it… Laura say’s the great thing about having experience in all aspects of marketing, is being able to apply it to every client’s brief. “It enables me fully understand where a particular project (your website) will fit within the bigger picture of a company’s business strategy.

“Your website shouldn’t be a stand alone piece, it should be an integral part of your business model, connected to your social media strategy and it should behave like a virtual sales rep for your business. In short - it should earn its keep!”

How many designers/developers do you know that can bring along 20 years worth of strategic marketing experience too?

In this skills session, Laura would like to talk to you about:

•    SEO/Keywords
•    Content marketing
•    Blogging
•    Social Media
•    bringing all of this together whilst killing several pesky birds with one stone
•    Making your website earn it’s keep!

Come and learn how your website fits into the bigger picture, what needs to be done to make it work harder for your business AND how to turn your website into your very own virtual sales representative.

The Business Haven is all about community, collaboration, and connection.

These skills sessions are designed for local business women who are interested in learning in a social setting. The groups are small, maximum 12 people, ensuring the personal application of both subject matter and support.
